Artist Statement

Matt Knipfing

I have always been an artist, and I feel I now have the tools and ambition to pursue a new career in the digital art field. After careful research of the field and the programs taught at CNM, it seemed like the perfect fit to do something interesting with my talent.

I believe myself to have an excellent eye for art and design. My major inspiration currently is my success. The inspiration for my art comes from many different places, including my childhood and having a passion for art at a very young age. With the development of digital art tools and software, it opened a whole new world of possibilities for my artistic talent. I am currently nearing the end of this degree and look forward to beginning a new lifestyle using my new found inspiration. I will embrace my creativity and plan on continuing to learn and grow in the digital realm.
